The following Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to TayleurLeather.com and TayleurLeather.ie, in addition to communications (email, post, telephone, etc) between you, the Customer, and us, Tayleur Leather. Please read all T&C and our Privacy Policy prior to accessing this website. If our T&C are not acceptable to you then we suggest that you not use the website. The terms we, us and our refer to Tayleur Leather. We reserve the right to change and/or update these T&C at any time, so we advise you to always check our current policies. Continued use of this website means you agree to the T&C in place. Our store is hosted by Ecwid and you are bound to their own T&C and their Privacy Policy.
All our products are made from either full or top grain veg tan leathers. Because we use natural material products, the actual product may differ slightly from the pictures on the website. This is normal and only adds to how unique the product is. There may also be occasional natural markings such as scarring, stretching, or insect bites, for instance, but this is a characteristic of the high-end leather we craft with. These are not defects and may not be used as a reason to return the product to claim it is defective.
Also, the shades of the leather may differ slightly on individual computer/tablet/phone. Again, this is something that is out of our control and should be taken into consideration when purchasing any of our products.
The leather itself will darken over time which is the nature of veg tan leather and is also not a defect. No one leather product will look 100% like another. They also age differently depending on the User.
All the images, illustrations, videos, and music on this website are the property of Tayleur Leather unless otherwise noted. No copying or transferring is allowed without our written permission. Product rights and designs are the property of Tayleur Leather and may not be duplicated and or copied in any way. Anyone found to be doing so will be issued with legal proceedings.
Orders and Purchases:
If you are purchasing and shipping an item within Ireland or the European Union, there are no additional taxes. For shipping to other destinations, you may be subject to additional import taxes and costs for the product you will be responsible for.
All prices on our site are quoted in euros. Additional shipping and handling charges apply. See Payment for current cost.
We use PayPal (includes credit and debit cards) and Stripe (credit cards and Apple Pay) for all transactions on our website. For purchases with local pickup in Rush, Ireland, cash will be accepted. Social distancing measures are in place for these orders, so please contact us via email, phone, or social media (see Contact Us) to make advance arrangements.
Orders received will be completed in the order they arrive. Upon making a purchase, you will receive an email from Tayleur Leather acknowledging your order. From time to time it is possible we may sell out of a product, or we are unable to provide a particular service, so if this is the case, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund. If you order a product and the leather you selected is out of stock an alternative will be suggested or if you prefer, we will refund your payment.
We reserve the right to refuse orders and any service we provide to anyone for any reason and at any time.
Shipping:
Once full payment has been received, we will begin processing your order for delivery to you. We offer standard mail shipping with An Post. We offer this at a flat rate of €8 for all orders within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and includes Tracking. All international orders are shipped at a flat rate of €15 and includes Tracking.
Your order will be processed and sent within five business days except under rare circumstances. Within Ireland your package should arrive within seven business days, within the UK and the EU, allow eight to ten business days. All other destinations you should expect a minimum of two weeks for delivery, depending on where you are in relation to Ireland and your own postal service and current international Covid restrictions in place. .
You are responsible for any import fees and/or taxes that your country may require. Ireland and the European Union are excluded from these requirements. Tayleur Leather is not responsible for any of these charges. Again, it is solely the responsibility of the Purchaser of the product(s). Tayleur Leather is also not responsible for any delays in delivery that these charges may cause.
If, for any reason, your purchase has not been delivered within the expected time frame, please contact us and we will try and locate the package via An Post. If your package is not located within a reasonable time, we will issue a replacement to you one time. We will not be able to send multiple orders if the products do not reach its destination each time. We will discuss the option of refund with the customer if this happens.
Returns and Exchanges:
Returns are only accepted when the product is returned within seven days and is unused and in the same condition it left Tayleur Leather. All packaging must also be in perfect condition.
The Customer is entitled to a full refund (including shipping charge) or replacement if the product is faulty, damaged, and/or not as described on our website. Proof of shipping costs incurred by the Customer must be provided. If you return a product, you are solely responsible to ensure Tayleur Leather receives it.
Please do not return an item before contacting us first and discussing with us the issue. We can then inform you of the correct action to follow.
Order cancellations will only be accepted before the order has been posted. Once mailed the order is confirmed and cannot be changed.
If your product is a Custom Order by Tayleur Leather, we cannot accept a return unless there is damage, or it is faulty, or the product is not what we discussed and agreed upon.
Any refund from Tayleur Leather will only be issued to the original Purchaser and made via the same method used for the purchase.
